ABOUT FARMERS TO FAMILIES BY PREMIER

As part of the Coronavirus Farm Assistance Program Secretary Perdue announced on April 17 2020, the USDA is exercising authority under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act to purchase and distribute agricultural products to those in need.

Farmers to Families by Premier is an authorized organization with the USDA that is partnering with regional and local distributors, whose workforce has been significantly impacted by the closure of many restaurants, hotels, and other food service entities, to purchase fresh produce, dairy, and meat.

The objective of Farmers to Families by Premier is to reach out and engage small farmers, processors, and producers to find the need and acquire, box, and distribute valuable commodities through trusted and authorized 501(c)(3) organizations.
